AADOCR Student Research Group at the University of Washington
The AADOCR National Student Research Group (NSRG) is a student-run organization with the purpose of fostering an environment for students to explore research opportunities. It is both a resource and forum for students interested in dental, oral, and craniofacial research and is composed of a network of local student research group (SRG) chapters at dental schools. Major goals of the NSRG are to provide a wide variety of career development, leadership, and networking opportunities for students in all stages of their education (pre-dental, dental, Master’s, PhD, dual degree, residency, and postdoctoral research), and to ensure that research is seen as a vital part of dentistry.
The AADOCR Student Research Group at the UW’s mission is to:
- Create a research-oriented space for students/trainees to discuss dental, oral, and craniofacial research to advance their work
- Promote membership and involvement in AADOCR
- Support student/trainee members for AADOCR national and International conferences
- Inform student/trainee members about the wide variety of career-development, leadership, research, and networking opportunities by AADOCR
