International Applicants

An international applicant is anyone who is not a United States citizen or permanent resident. If you fit this definition, please view the UW Graduate School website for important information about admission and application requirements.

International Requirements

Applicants who are not US citizens or permanent residents must satisfy university requirements. Applicants whose native language is not English need a current, valid, official TOEFL IBT score of at least 92 or paper exam of at least 580 to enter the program. TOEFL scores are only valid up to two years after the test date.

An applicant may be considered for admission if graduated from a non-ADA accredited (international) dental school. Please include a World Education Services (WES) and Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) evaluation with your transcripts. We do not offer conditional admission.

The UW Graduate School also requires official certification of adequate financial support after candidate has been selected.
