January 15, 2026 - Dr. James E. Newman of the Department of Restorative Dentistry has been named as the 2026 recipient of the School of Dentistry’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award.

Dr. Alireza Sadr Named Director of Digital Dentistry
January 5, 2026 - Dr. Alireza Sadr of the Department of Restorative Dentistry has been appointed as the first-ever UW School of Dentistry Director of Digital Dentistry and Innovation, effective Jan. 1, 2026.
