About Community Health Care

Community Health Care offers residents the opportunity to train in a high-volume, community-based setting that emphasizes comprehensive patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and service to underserved populations. Residents develop advanced clinical skills while caring for a diverse patient population across two dental clinics in Pierce County.

Our Mission is to provide the highest quality healthcare with compassionate and accessible service for all.

Patient Population

Community Health Care serves more than 54,000 patients each year through seven medical and behavioral health clinics, five dental clinics, seven pharmacy locations, and three school-based health centers in the Bethel School District all across Pierce County.

Clinical Services / Experiences

  • Residents will have the opportunity to conduct approximately 1,500 patient procedures during the training year.
  • Training and experience in the comprehensive clinical care and management of patients.
  • Exposure to and experience in complex treatment modalities in a variety of disciplines of dentistry.
  • An opportunity to enhance the resident’s level of confidence and competence.
  • Advanced clinical instruction in order to minimize the need for specialist referrals.
