South Campus Center
South Campus Center, located south of the Magnuson Health Sciences Building, offers study rooms, meeting rooms, classrooms, event spaces, and a UW Postal Service mailbox.
Registered student organizations may reserve rooms in South Campus Center and the Health Sciences Building. Reservations are made via the Room Reservations website. Early reservation is strongly encouraged. For more information on room reservation policies and potential costs, go to the Health Sciences Room Reservations website. You may also visit their office in T291, Health Sciences Building. Visit the room matrix for detailed information about individual rooms and study spaces, including photos, capacity, technology and other equipment.
SOD Student Lounge
The Dental Student Lounge is located in C-213 and contains individual mailboxes, computers, a printer, seating, microwaves, two refrigerators, a sink, and a large-screen monitor. Students are responsible for keeping the lounge relatively clean and free of clutter, and for cleaning the refrigerators and microwaves. The Student Council sets rules governing cleaning procedures and will notify the Office of Student Services and Admissions regarding specific problems or needs. Permission to use the lounge by groups other than predoctoral dental students must be obtained from the Student Council President. To report problems of any kind in C-213, contact the Office of Student Services and Admissions.

Request a Banquet Permit
To schedule a social and serve alcohol in the Student Lounge, C-213, follow these steps in this order:
- Access information on Alcohol Service to learn rules and to access the Alcohol Service Request
- List Susan Coldwell as the Event Sponsor – requires approval
- List Carol Brown as the Venue Operator – requires approval
- Hold for final approval from University Facilities
- Once approval received, follow University Facilities directions for purchasing a WA State Banquet Permit from the Washington State Liquor Control Board. They recommend 2 weeks advance notice to process the permit.
- The Banquet Permit and a copy of the University Facilities approval email MUST be posted at each alcohol service location in the designated event space (C-213) for the duration of the event.
- You may not store alcohol in C-213 before the official start time of the event.
- You must remove the alcohol and containers at the end of the event.
- You must bag all garbage and dispose of it in one of the loading dock dumpsters.
- Recycle cans and bottles at loading dock locations, if possible.
