Clinical Associate Professor, Pediatric Dentistry

Background

Dr. Lin is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He has been the Predoctoral Program Director since 2007. He practices at The Center for Pediatric Dentistry and the Dental Surgery Center, Seattle Children’s hospital. Dr. Lin is board certified and a clinical mentor for pre-dental students.

Dr. Lin spent a year conducting molecular genetic research on oligodontia (missing teeth) at Harvard Medical School. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Academic Interests

Dr. Lin has implemented podcasting and an audience response system to facilitate students’ learning. He is developing an app for mobile devices to improve students’ learning experiences in pediatric dentistry.
