Dr. Sangeetha Nedunchezhian began her dental career in Chennai, India, where she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS). With a strong commitment to patient care, she established successful practice in Northern California before transitioning into academic dentistry.
At the School of Dentistry, Dr. Nedunchezhian serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor and RIDE Restorative Faculty Liaison. She plays a key role in student development from their first year through graduation, teaching in the Comprehensive Care clinics, co-directing the “Intro to Clinical Practice” summer course, and providing individualized mentorship. As a RIDE Faculty Liaison, she supports students in the RIDE program with both clinical guidance and academic encouragement.
Dr. Nedunchezhian is actively involved in school committees and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Women Dentists, and a Fellow of the International College of Dentists.
Beyond the classroom, she volunteers in community outreach programs and is a dedicated animal welfare advocate through her work with the Seattle Humane Society.
