Ms. Phillips holds a BS (1982) and MPA (1985) both from the University of Washington, Seattle Washington.

Awards and Honors

Ms. Phillips was the recipient of the OKU’s honorary Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) award for academic excellence and service to the profession (2000).

Professional Service

Ms. Phillips is the Director of Quality Improvement and Health & Safety for the School and is an active member on numerous committees including Dental Admissions, Quality Improvement, Health & Safety, and the Clinical Services Committee. She has had the honor of serving on the Dean’s Search Committee and is a past representative of the University of Washington’s Faculty Council of Faculty Affairs.

Sandra has been a member of AADS/ADEA since 1997; Her activities include: a poster presentation at the 74th annual session entitled ‘Outcomes Comparison of Solo-Practitioner and Group Practice Care Delivery Models’; participation in the Legal Special Interest Group at the 77th annual session ‘Providing Patient Care: Legal rights and responsibilities of the Dental Education Institution; in 2006 she was appointed as the Western Regional Chair of the Clinic Administration Section for ADEA and served as the Section Secretary in 2011, and Section Chair from 2012-2014.

Personal Interests

Vacationing on Maui, hiking, the outdoors, cooking and family.
