Education and Training
Dr. Huang holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from Kaohsiung Medical University (2007), Taiwan, a Master of Dental Science (MDSc) and a Certificate of Prosthodontics from Kaohsiung Medical University (2009), Taiwan, a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) and a Certificate in Prosthodontics from Indiana University (2014).
Awards and Professional Service
Before joining the University of Washington, Dr. Huang served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where he directed and taught multiple didactic and clinical courses in fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics. He was the course director of partial edentulism course for the second-year dental students. Most recently, he has practiced as a prosthodontist and general dentist in Seattle, Washington.
Dr. Huang is a member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association, American College of Prosthodontists, and board-eligible for the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Huang has been invited to speak at professional conferences and academic events internationally, presenting on topics such as digital workflows in full-mouth rehabilitation, implant prosthetic design, and interdisciplinary treatment planning. His work reflects a strong commitment to comprehensive, patient-centered care and academic collaboration.
