Dr. Kronstrom holds a DDS from Lund University, Sweden (1980). He earned a Certificate in Prosthodontics from the Postgraduate Dental Education Center, Orebro, Sweden (1994) and a PhD in Prosthodontics from Malmo University, Sweden (1999).
Dr. Kronstrom’s research specialty is in the fields of Dental Implants, Decision Making in Prosthodontics and Dental Education. His research focuses on clinical studies in Implant Dentistry in order to develop new and less expensive treatment options for edentulous patients. He has given several presentations nationally and internationally and authored numerous articles in international peer-reviewed prosthodontic journals.
Dr. Kronstrom maintains a private Faculty Practice and is a member of the International College of Prosthodontists, the Academy of Osseointegration, the International/American Association for Dental Research. He is mentoring a PhD student at Malmo University, Sweden, and is a reviewer for the International Journal of Prosthodontics, the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, and BMC Medical Journal. He serves as an IRB member on the Human Subjects Committee at the University of Washington.
Dr. Kronstrom’s personal interests include his family, dogs and gardening. He has a sincere interest in classic American automobiles.
