Dr. Yae holds a bachelor of arts degree in Zoology (1983) from the University of Washington, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery (1987) from the University of Washington.
Awards/Professional Service
Dr. Yae has maintained a private practice in Lynnwood WA for over 33 years before joining the University of Washington School of Dentistry as clinical faculty.
He has also been awarded for over 30 years of service as affiliate faculty at the University of Washington. Dr. Yae was nominated by the class of 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 at the University of Washington School of Dentistry as an outstanding faculty member. Dr. Yae has given multiple lectures on laser dentistry. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Operative Dentistry, Washington State Dental Association, and Snohomish Dental Association.
Dr. Yae is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Academy of Gold Foil Operators (1987- 2001), Hampson Ferrier gold foil study club (1987-2001), and Associated Ferrier study club (1987-2001)
