Learning Objectives

At the end of the course, students will be able to:

  1. Define the procedures and design for a resin-bonded ultraconservative fixed prosthesis
  2. Properly design and wax an anterior resin-bonded ultraconservative fixed prosthesis
  3. Diagnose and plan an anterior tooth esthetics case with treatment to include both Periodontal and Restorative procedures
  4. Define the procedures and design for a porcelain fused to metal fixed prosthesis
  5. Properly prepare teeth for all esthetic veneer crown designs as well as prepare teeth for an anterior porcelain fused to metal fixed prosthesis then fabricate of a provisional resin fixed prosthesis, make a final impression, make a working cast, mount of casts on a Panadent semi-adjustable articulator, wax the fixed prosthesis to complete contour and cut-back for porcelain, then cast and apply porcelain to one retainer.
