Course Description
Regenerative Endodontic Procedures (REPs) are the most innovative evolving technologies in endodontics. They are widely discussed in literature, but which is the right clinical protocol? Is it difficult to realize? The webinar will be focused on the discussion of the most recent scientific findings from a clinical point of view. Moreover, the clinical procedures will be presented step by step throughout videos and clinical case reports. The main goal will be to show a simple, fast and reliable clinical protocol based on the modern literature and research.
Course Objectives
As a result of attending this course you should be able to:
- Discuss the clinical protocol for REPs.
- Understand the biological background for regenerative endodontics.
- Select the right clinical case for REPs.
- Avoid procedural errors during the clinical protocol for REPs.
- Recognize the future developments in the field of regenerative endodontics.
Instructor
Mario Alovisi graduated in 2010 with a Degree in Dentistry cum Laude from the University of Turin (Italy). From 2013 he was a Consultant in the Post-Graduate Master Course in micro-surgical endodontics at the University of Turin. From 2014 he was the official consultant medical staff – CIR Dental School Turin. In 2016 he completed the PhD Program Degree in Technologies Applied to Surgical Sciences for the regenerative procedures in endodontics. From 2018 he was a Confirmed Researcher in Odontostomatology and from 2021 he was Associate Professor of the Department of Surgical Sciences at the University of Turin. He is a Certified Member of the European Society of Endodontics (ESE), of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) and of the Italian Society of Operative Dentistry (SIDOC). He has authored original papers and review articles on peer-reviewed journals on different aspects of endodontics and operative dentistry.
