Course Description

Join Fred Hutch Cancer Center for the first Head & Neck Webinar series! During this virtual event, learners will have the opportunity to receive a brief update on management of oropharyngeal cancer and the unknown primary from a multidisciplinary team. We will discuss robotic surgery, proton robotic surgery, proton therapy, new guidelines for unknown primary workup, liquid biopsy and clinical trial results. Course Objectives

As a result of attending this program, you should be able to:

  • Identify the changing epidemiology of head and neck cancers and the evolution and management of early-onset cancers.
  • Discuss appropriate patients for referral for robotic or advanced reconstructive surgery.
  • Discuss appropriate patients for clinical trial enrollment.
  • Recognize higher-risk subgroups warranting multi-disciplinary tumor board evaluation.
