Course Description
Dr. Wu has completed numerous full mouth reconstructions in his career by treating patients himself or through guiding the residents. The course is designed to:

Share the fundamental knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment planning for the patients in need of full mouth
reconstruction - Share the procedures of performing full mouth reconstruction with different workflow.

Course Objectives
As a result of attending this course you should be able to:
- Diagnose the etiology of the compromised dentition.
- Using updated technology to integrate data and form treatment plan.
- Understand how to complete full mouth reconstruction with optimal esthetic result and function
Instructor
Wenchou (James) Wu is a board-certified maxillofacial prosthodontist. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontist. Dr. Wu graduated from Taipei Medical University School of Dentistry in 2000. He received his master’s degree in biomedical sciences and certificate in prosthodontics from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006. Dr. Wu was the past program director of both Advanced Education in Prosthodontics Program and Advanced Education in Maxillofacial Prosthetics Program at UAB. He joined the Columbia University as the professor and the program director of the Advanced Education in Prosthodontics in 2023. Dr. Wu is the current chair of the National Prosthodontic Resident Exam Committee of ACP. He is an international speaker and maintained an active faculty practice at the Columbia Doctors Midtown with emphasis in cosmetic dentistry, Implant prosthesis, and full mouth reconstruction.
