Course Description

Learn from Dr. Jon Marashi, (New York University College of Dentistry, 2001), how he strategically maneuvered his way up the ladder of success in the world of dentistry. He started out just like you, broke and stressed. In this lecture you’ll learn what were the key decisions that Dr. Marashi made along the way that changed his fate from average dentist to a thriving celebrity practice. You will also learn how he took that knowledge and applied it to business ventures that led to a One Billion Dollar, all-cash, exit! Learn the key insights and strategies that you can immediately apply, even as a dental student, that will lead you to a more successful career and happiness in life!

We will start the morning off hearing from Dr. Marashi’s CPA, Michelle Blake. She will share important info you need to know for optimal financial health in dental practice and the dental professional’s life.

Come prepared to be inspired and energized, plus ready for some food for thought or homework on the numbers front.

Instructors

Dr. Jon MarashiJon Marashi is a renowned industry leader and innovator for cosmetic dentistry. His loyal clientele includes an impressive roster of A-list actors, musicians, athletes, and Hollywood executives. Dr. Marashi has a uniquely high-tech, precise and artistic approach to cosmetic dentistry which has garnered the attention of top media including Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Vanity Fair, Forbes, and The Wall Street Journal. In addition to his private practice, he launched his signature M Sonic Luxury Tonic toothbrush in 2019. Dr. Marashi was on the founding team and helped launch the company byte, a disruptive oral healthcare brand, which was acquired by Dentsply Sirona in 2020 in a staggering 1-billion-dollar deal. When not in the office, you can find him shredding on his skateboard!

Michelle Blake is a CPA in the San Antonio, TX area with extensive experience in business and individual tax projection and preparation and focuses on the financial needs of individuals in the field of dentistry and health care.

For this in person lecture, a registration refund will be issued for cancellations received by Thursday, April 18, 2024. Registration will remain open until Thursday, April 18, 2024 – however we will accept walk-in registrations the day of the class, Saturday, April 20, 2024 with an additional $25 late fee. NO REFUNDS will be accepted after Thursday, April 18, 2024. Cancellations must be received in email to dentalce@uw.edu The cancellation request must include: the name of the course, name of the person registered, name of the person requesting the cancellation, and the reason for the cancellation.
