Course Description
The go-to material of choice for posterior Class II restorations is resin composite. Despite our best efforts, complications with the direct placement of composite happen—sensitivity, marginal overhangs, chipping, and de-bonding just to name a few. Dr. Brock combines over twenty years of clinical experience in private practice with original research by his team at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry to provide practical solutions to these far too common complications.
Learning Objective
At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Properly diagnose common complications associated with posterior Class II composite restorations.
- Identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Learn how to prevent complications by understanding the most common factors that cause them.
Instructor
Dr. David P. Brock graduated from Harvard University with his DMD and received his certification and Master’s degree in Prosthodontics from Loma Linda University.
He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontics (ACP) and prior to joining the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, he had his own private practice in Monterey CA.
