Course Description

Participants will learn the techniques to ensure profound local anesthesia for pain control and delve into intricacies of designing the perfect flap for lower 3rd molars. The course also provides insights into the art of sectioning 3rd molars atraumatically ensuring tooth removal with the minimal complications. Additionally, attendees will refine their suturing skills, from selecting the right materials to mastering various stitching techniques. On the administrative side, the course offers guidance on the accurate coding of third molar procedures to ensure seamless billing and minimize potential insurance disputes. By the end of this immersive training, GP’s will possess the confidence and knowledge to excel in 3rd molar surgeries, ensuring precision and top tier patient care.

    Dr. Jared WilliamsJared Williams is a distinguished general dentist in Houston, focusing in 3rd molar surgery, implantology, and IV sedation. He has over a decade of experience and is praised for his soft touch and commitment to patient comfort during surgery. A native of Houston, he graduated from Alief Elsik High School and pursued advanced studies at Oakwood University and Meharry Medical College. His expertise grew during a General Practice Residency at the University of Pennsylvania-Veteran Affairs Medical Center and he earned a certificate in IV Sedation from Augusta University. Apart from patient care, Dr. Williams educates GP’s in 3rd molar surgery and spearheads the “The JW Method” movement globally. Additionally, he authors works, speaks internationally, and serves at the UT Health School of Dentistry in Houston. Embracing “Service Above Self,” he aspires to elevate dental standards and motivate upcoming general practitioners.
