Takish Ziad , BDS

Affiliate Assistant Professor, Pediatric Dentistry


Dr. Ziad is a part-time Affiliated Faculty at The Center for Pediatric Dentistry. He is a clinical instructor for UW pediatric dental residents and pre-doctoral dental students. He also serves as a full time pediatric dentist at Children’s Village in Yakima, WA, where he focuses primarily on oral health of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities. He provides a clinical and didactic teaching for the Lutheran Medical pediatric dental residents in Yakima.  He maintains hospital privileges at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Washington State Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, International Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry, and Central Washington Oral Health Foundation.  He has been involved with Special Smiles, the oral health component of Special Olympics.
