- Northwest PRECEDENT
Northwest PRECEDENT is the Practice-based REsearch Collaborative in Evidence-based DENTistry. Founded in 2005, this network of dental practices will establish the infrastructure to perform a wide variety of oral health research studies across a five-state region covering Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah and Washington.
- Northwest / Alaska Center for Research on Oral Health Disparities
NACROHD performs research aimed at reducing oral health disparities in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. In order to obtain this goal, the Center seeks to develop basic and applied knowledge that addresses the needs of the poor, minority and rural children and their caretakers who now suffer a disproportionate share of oral disease.
- Graduate Program in Oral Biology
Research conducted by faculty in the Graduate Program in Oral Biology has direct ties with Dentistry and advances in dental research that keep the dental profession strong. In addition, the mouth is the entrance to the body and many aspects of systemic health are reflected in oral health. Our research contributes to our nation’s need for knowledge to develop better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral diseases that affect us all, from infancy to old age.
