Dr. Kim graduated from the University of Michigan’s School of Dentistry in 2001, and worked as a General Dentist and at the SMILE program prior to joining the University of Washington. She has managed research programs at the Michigan Center for Oral Health Research; Yuhan Pharma; the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center’s Clinical Trials Office; and the Dermatology Clinical Pharmacology Unit at the University of Michigan School of Medicine. Dr. Kim has over 12 years of experience in various aspects of research and regulatory affairs in both academia and industry. She has extensive expertise in regulatory affairs and human subjects protection; and has served as a board member of several Institutional Review Boards.
Dr. Kim’s research expertise areas include dermatology, bone biology, and oral health. Research interests include access to care and innovations in dental therapeutics.
